Insurance Guidance
Helping Homeowners Navigate Insurance- Without the Headache
Dealing with home insurance after roof or siding damage can feel overwhelming. Policies are confusing, communication can be frustrating, and many homeowners aren't sure what they're actually responsible for.
My role is to simplify that process, manage the details, and help you understand your options- so you don't have to navigate it alone.

When Insurance Can Make Sense for You
Not every exterior issue should go through insurance- and some absolutely should.
Insurance is often worth exploring when there is:
-
Storm-related roof or siding damage
-
Missing, lifted, or creased shingles
-
Suspected hail damage
-
Cracked, broken, or damaged siding
-
Damage that affects the integrity or your exterior system
Part of my job is helping you understand whether insurance makes sense for your home before anything moves forward.

-
Support With the Claims Process
If you choose to file a claim, we handle documentation, communication with your adjuster, and the details needed to support proper repairs or replacement.
FAQ'S
1
What will I be responsible to pay out-of-pocket for insurance work?
This depends on your policy. With a full replacement (RCV) policy, your responsibility is typically your deductible, plus any optional material upgrades you choose. Other policies may cover only a portion of the cost. We review your policy together so you understand this upfront and aren’t surprised.
2
Do I owe anything if insurance doesn't end up paying out?
No. If insurance does not approve coverage and you choose not to move forward, you do not owe us anything. The inspection and policy review are provided at no cost.
3
Adjuster Coordination
Yes, we work with all home insurance companies, and our process for each carrier is shaped by our experience working with their specific requirements, documentation, and procedures.
4
Am I required to file an insurance claim to work with you?
No. Insurance is always optional. We review your policy so you can decide whether insurance or an out-of-pocket approach makes the most sense for you and your home.
5
How long does the process usually take?
Timelines vary widely depending on your insurance company, the adjuster assigned, and the type of damage involved. Some approvals happen quickly, while others can take several months. We’ll keep you informed throughout the process so you always know what’s happening.
